How my journey began

HI! I’m the host of the Let’s Get Our Shit Together podcast. I love baking, dogs (mine especially), volunteering, and being of service to others.

I own and operate Creations By Kiki, where I bring joy to my clients with custom cakes and cookies.

When I quit my day job to start my bakery, I got a lot of questions from my family and friends:

1. Are you crazy? - probably.

2. What are you going to do for money? - uh… bake.

3. How can you afford to quit your job? - It was a good job, steady pay, benefits, etc. I planned for it.

But their negativity couldn’t deter me. I knew what I had to do and I had to do it right then.
